The beautifully quiet village of Snowshill is a well chosen destination for visitors from near and far. Home to under 180 residents the village of Snowshill is known for its National Trust Manor and outstanding Lavender Fields. During the flowering season mid June to end of July the surrounding 35 acres of fields around the Snowshill village are blanketed with a deep coloured Lavender. The popular Snowshill Manor holds a collection of Architect Charles Paget Wade’s findings between 1900 and 1951. The very narrow winding roads and beautiful cotswold stoned cottages give this quaint village its character. It’s also the reason it has become a popular location for filming with the likes of Bridget Jones and Mark Darcy using it as one of their ‘home villages.’

Snowshill Lavender Farm

Consisting of 35 acres of land surrounding the Village of Snowshill the beautiful Lavender Fields are a spectacular attraction and can be admired for miles around. However the flowering season is short so for those wanting to see the outstanding blankets of purple we advise heading here towards the beginning of the British summer. The Lavender is usually harvested after the third week in July to ensure the best yield. The Lavender Farm themselves produce a huge collection of Lavender-made goods, from Culinary Goods to Oils and Skincare and Gifts.
