Cheltenham

A regency spa town, which began life as an Anglo Saxon Village 1200 years ago. Cheltenham developed significantly in the 18th Century upon the discovery of medical waters close to the town. During the 20 year period between 1820 and 1840 the recorded population rose from 13,000 to 36,000 increasing the towns stock of houses massively.

Cheltenham today is great for its high street shopping, beautiful parks and famous for being home to the UK’s busiest racecourse. For those that enjoy country pursuits, Cheltenham is a fantastic place to experience the racing atmosphere.
